MUSIC POST 4: I don't think an album has struck me as much in a long time as this one. The melodies, the lyrics, the sound of it - all seems so familiar and seems to have become a bedfellow for my vulnerability of late. Some of the songs are just perfect. I really can't recommend it enough: Nick Mulvey - First Mind. I know Liane would have adored it, much like Jack Johnson, Ben Howard and others on our list. It's odd listening to it without her...

MUSIC POST 3: Every time I plug in to my phone and use Spotify I spend half my time scrolling past songs we listened to together. The emotion they stir up is incredible. Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities Forget about your worries and your strife I mean the bare necessities Old Mother Nature's recipes That brings the bare necessities of life Wherever I wander, wherever I roam I couldn't be fonder of my big home The bees are buzzin' in the tree To make some honey just for me When you look under the rocks and plants And take a glance at the fancy ants Then maybe try a few The bare necessities of life will come to you They'll come to you!
